New heart scan cuts radiation risk for patients and doctors

NCT ID NCT06348875

Summary

This study is testing a new way to perform heart scans (angiograms) that uses much less radiation. It aims to see if these low-radiation scans, enhanced with special software, are just as clear and useful for diagnosing heart problems as standard scans. The goal is to reduce long-term radiation exposure risks for both patients and the medical staff who perform these procedures daily.
