First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study will test if a gentler form of exercise, which uses a blood pressure cuff to limit blood flow, can improve leg strength and balance as well as traditional resistance training in people who have had a stroke. About 80 adults aged 30-40 who had a stroke 3-12 months ago will take part. The goal is to find a safer, easier way to help stroke survivors regain movement and reduce fall risk.
