First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether eating less glutamate—a natural compound found in many foods—can reduce the number and severity of migraine attacks in adults. Forty participants will either follow a low-glutamate diet or continue their usual eating habits while tracking their headaches. Researchers will also check blood samples for biological changes linked to migraine improvement.
