First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at 155 adults who had weight-loss surgery to see if using a low-flow or standard-flow anesthesia gas changed inflammation levels after surgery. Researchers measured blood markers of inflammation before and after the operation. The goal was to learn more about how different anesthesia methods might affect the body's response, not to provide a new treatment.
