First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study looks at whether starting with a low-carbohydrate diet and then switching to a low-fat diet leads to more body fat loss than the opposite order. Over 8 weeks, 42 overweight adults will eat only delivered meals and track their weight, activity, and blood sugar at home. The goal is to see if diet order matters for weight management.
