Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, vemurafenib (taken by mouth) and rituximab (given through a vein), for people with hairy cell leukemia. The goal was to see if this treatment works as well as or better than standard chemotherapy, but with fewer side effects. The study included 15 adults who either had not been treated before or whose cancer had returned after prior therapy.
