First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether a low dose of tamoxifen, a drug that blocks estrogen, can reduce the risk of breast cancer in people who have had radiation therapy for other cancers. About 84 participants are randomly assigned to receive either low-dose tamoxifen or a placebo. The main goal is to see if tamoxifen lowers breast density, a known risk factor for breast cancer.
