First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a single, low-dose radiation treatment to the chest can reduce lung inflammation in hospitalized adults with COVID-19 pneumonia. The goal is to see if this approach lowers the need for a ventilator, shortens hospital stays, and improves survival. About 37 participants will receive either standard care or standard care plus one low-dose radiation session.
