High-Dose therapy tested for meth addiction control
NCT ID NCT06788587
Summary
This study is testing whether people with moderate to severe methamphetamine addiction can safely take a high-dose stimulant medication for 25 weeks alongside standard treatment. Researchers want to see if participants stay in the program, take their medication regularly, and are satisfied with the treatment compared to those receiving a placebo. The trial involves 80 people in Canada who have already completed a previous related study.
