Two-Year gut disease drug trial seeks to confirm safety

NCT ID NCT06764615

Summary

This study aims to check the long-term safety of an oral medication called zasocitinib (TAK-279) for adults with active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. It is an extension for up to two years for people who benefited from the drug in earlier, shorter studies. The main goal is to see if the drug remains safe and continues to control bowel inflammation and symptoms over a longer period.
