Years later: does a colon tube truly help severe constipation?
NCT ID NCT07160192
Summary
This study is checking on patients years after they had a special tube placed into their colon to help with severe, treatment-resistant constipation. Researchers will call 80 patients who had the procedure at a French hospital to ask about their quality of life, symptoms, and any problems. The goal is to see if the benefits of this procedure last over the long term and how well patients tolerate it.
