First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether giving children a lollipop after surgery can reduce emergence delirium—a common state of confusion and restlessness when waking from anesthesia. About 66 children aged 2–6 years will be observed after their operation. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to help kids recover more comfortably.
