New ultrasound tech could replace liver biopsies for fatty liver patients

Summary
This study tests two noninvasive ultrasound devices to measure liver stiffness and inflammation in people with fatty liver disease. About 95 adults will get same-day scans with both machines to see if results match. The goal is to find a painless way to assess liver damage without a needle biopsy.
