New combo therapy aims to stop liver cancer in its tracks
NCT ID NCT04996914
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) after a standard procedure (TACE) can better control liver cancer in people whose tumors cannot be surgically removed. About 30 adults with early- or intermediate-stage liver cancer will receive the combination therapy. The main goal is to see if the treated tumor stays under control for at least one year.
