New scan aims to spot liver cancer sooner

NCT ID NCT07145801

Summary

This study is testing if a special type of ultrasound, called contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), can better check if a liver cancer treatment is working. It will compare CEUS to the standard CT or MRI scans that patients already get. The goal is to see if CEUS can give doctors a clearer, faster answer about whether the cancer is still active after treatment.
