Extra help for stalled weight loss after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07374445
Summary
This study looked at whether starting the medication liraglutide (a weight management drug) early could help people who were still obese six months after weight loss surgery. It involved 100 patients to see if this extra treatment led to better weight loss and improved health markers like blood sugar and blood pressure compared to not using it. The goal was to find the best timing for this add-on therapy to control obesity long-term.
