Can common cooking oil help fight insulin resistance?
NCT ID NCT07287514
Summary
This study is testing whether taking a daily supplement of linoleic acid-rich oil for 8 weeks can improve insulin sensitivity in adults with insulin resistance. Researchers will compare this oil against a control blend oil in 120 participants while they maintain their usual diet and lifestyle. The goal is to better understand how this common dietary fat affects metabolic health and whether it could help manage insulin resistance.
