First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a lightweight, motorized prosthetic leg for people who have lost a leg above the knee. Researchers want to see if it improves walking, stair climbing, and overall mobility compared to standard prosthetics. About 40 adults who already use a prosthetic leg will try different settings and controllers to find what works best.
