Could a beam of light slow Alzheimer's?

NCT ID NCT04784416

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive light therapy, aimed at the forehead, can help improve memory and thinking in older adults with early Alzheimer's disease or mild memory problems. About 196 participants will receive either the real light treatment or a sham (fake) treatment for 8 weeks. Researchers will use brain scans and memory tests to see if the therapy helps and how it might work in the brain.
