Fighting skin cancer with a Patient's own supercharged immune cells

NCT ID NCT07288203

Summary

This study is testing a personalized cell therapy called lifileucel for people with advanced melanoma that has worsened after standard immunotherapy. Doctors take immune cells from a patient's tumor, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and infuse them back into the patient to attack the cancer. The trial aims to see if this approach can shrink tumors and control the disease in 100 participants who have limited treatment options.
