Summary

This study tested whether short, affirming text messages could help reduce self-injurious thoughts and behaviors in LGBTQ+ adults. 55 participants who had recent self-injury thoughts or actions took part. The goal was to see if a simple, tailored message intervention could make a difference for this at-risk group.
