Summary
This study is testing the LEGION Medial Stabilized knee implant in 144 people who need total knee replacement due to arthritis or joint damage. The goal is to see how well the implant holds up over 10 years without needing revision surgery. Participants will receive one of three versions of the implant, and their progress will be tracked for up to a decade.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- LEGION Medial Stabilized knee implant (device)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could confirm that the LEGION knee implant is safe and durable for long-term use, helping people with arthritis or joint damage get back to daily activities.
- What could go wrong
- This is a mid-stage study with only 144 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. There is always a risk of implant failure, infection, or need for revision surgery.
