Scientists scan feet to see if leg artery treatments work

NCT ID NCT02791204

Summary

This study tested a new imaging method to see if it could measure blood flow in the feet. Researchers compared scans from 34 healthy people and patients with diabetes and clogged leg arteries. The goal was to see if this scan could show how well a procedure to open blocked arteries improved circulation.
