Could simple leg wiggles fight poor circulation?

NCT ID NCT06389149

Summary

This study is testing a new, gentle leg movement therapy for people with peripheral artery disease (PAD), a condition that reduces blood flow to the legs. Researchers want to see if moving the legs passively (without muscle effort) during long periods of sitting can improve blood vessel health and walking ability. The study involves 24 participants, including people with PAD and healthy older adults, who will try the therapy during two separate lab visits.
