First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive imaging device called LC-OCT to see if it can clearly show the edges of basal cell skin cancers before Mohs surgery. About 60 adults who are already scheduled for Mohs surgery will have their cancer site scanned with this camera. The goal is to find out if the images are clear enough to help surgeons plan the removal more precisely.
