Summary
This study is testing a mobile app called L-WebTIPS, which was culturally adapted for Latinx families, to see if it can reduce anxiety and pain in children ages 2-7 having outpatient surgery. The app provides information, modeling, and coping skills to prepare children and their parents for the surgical experience. The goal is to improve recovery and reduce surgical disparities for Latinx children.
