First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study follows 240 adults who need laser surgery for pilonidal sinus (a cyst near the tailbone). Researchers will check if the cyst returns within 2 years by asking participants questions at 1 and 2 years after their procedure. The goal is to learn how well laser treatment works over time, not to test a new treatment.
