NCT ID NCT05841628
First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at how well people tolerate laser treatment for port wine birthmarks using an FDA-approved 532 nm laser. Researchers want to compare the standard single high-energy pulse with a new approach using multiple low-energy pulses. Fifteen adults with non-facial port wine stains will receive three monthly treatments to see which method causes less discomfort and gives better results.
