First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether using special lasers followed by a skin ointment can effectively treat common skin cancers like basal and squamous cell carcinoma. About 100 adults with biopsy-confirmed skin cancer will receive the laser treatment and apply the ointment for five nights. The goal is to clear the cancer without surgery, improving cosmetic results and offering a simpler option for many patients.
