First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether using fractional lasers followed by tirbanibulin ointment can effectively treat two common types of skin cancer: squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. About 100 adults with biopsy-confirmed skin cancers will receive the laser treatment and then apply the ointment for five nights. The goal is to clear the cancer while avoiding invasive surgery, improving how the skin looks afterward, and offering a simpler option for more people.
