Researchers chart the human cost of throat cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07320820
Summary
This study aims to understand how treatment for laryngeal (voice box) cancer affects patients' daily lives over a full year. Researchers will follow 120 patients, asking them to complete questionnaires about their voice, swallowing ability, pain, mood, and overall satisfaction before treatment and at 3, 6, and 12 months after. The goal is to map the recovery journey to help future patients with better, more personalized support plans.
