NCT ID NCT05469789
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study follows 50 people in the UK with hereditary angioedema (HAE) types I or II who are taking lanadelumab. Researchers will compare the number of HAE attacks in the year before starting the drug to up to two years after. The goal is to see how well the drug works outside of clinical trials, using patient diaries and medical records.

lanadelumab
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could confirm that lanadelumab reduces HAE attacks in everyday clinical practice, supporting its use as a standard treatment.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study with only 50 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. It does not test a new drug or prove cause and effect.
