Summary

This study tested whether adding a substance made from a patient's own blood (L-PRF) to standard gum surgery improves healing and reduces pain. Twenty-one adults with gum disease took part. The researchers compared standard surgery alone to surgery with L-PRF, measuring pocket depth and pain levels.
