Scientists test 'Vaccine' to train immune system against cancer

NCT ID NCT04117087

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a personalized vaccine designed to target specific mutations found in colorectal and pancreatic cancers. The vaccine is combined with two immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab and ipilimumab) to help the body's immune system recognize and attack cancer cells. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and to see if it triggers an immune response against the cancer.
