New Long-Lasting pain shot tested for knee surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT06740214

Summary

This study aims to find the best dose of a long-acting numbing medicine (liposomal bupivacaine) given as a nerve block to control pain after knee replacement surgery. Researchers will compare how well different doses reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers in 177 adults undergoing the procedure. The goal is to improve recovery by finding the most effective and safe dose for post-surgical pain management.
