This study tested two physical therapy techniques—hold-relax and muscle energy—to see which better reduces pain, improves movement, and boosts leg function in people with knee stiffness after a fracture. Sixty-eight adults aged 18 to 35 who had healed fractures participated. Both techniques involve gentle stretching and muscle contractions, performed three times a week for eight weeks.
