First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at two different methods of placing a total knee prosthesis: the standard mechanical alignment and a newer, more personalized kinematic alignment. The goal is to see which technique leads to better knee movement and function when walking or climbing stairs. Researchers will follow 120 adults who had a knee replacement one year ago to compare their results.
