First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests if injecting a sugar (dextrose) solution around knee nerves can reduce chronic pain from knee osteoarthritis better than a numbing medicine alone. About 60 adults with knee arthritis will receive a series of three injections. Researchers will measure pain levels over 90 days to see which approach works best.
