NCT ID NCT07191899

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called KN060 for people with essential hypertension (high blood pressure). Sixty adults aged 18 to 65 will receive either KN060 or a placebo by IV drip every two weeks for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if KN060 safely lowers blood pressure compared to placebo.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

KN060 (a drug given by intravenous drip every two weeks)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for high blood pressure that requires only a twice-monthly IV infusion.

What could go wrong

This is a very early Phase 1 trial with only 60 people, so it is primarily testing safety and dosing. The drug may not lower blood pressure effectively, and side effects are unknown.
