New study aims to predict treatment failure in kawasaki disease to prevent heart damage

Summary
This study is testing two scoring systems (Kobayashi and Kawanet) to see if they can predict which children with Kawasaki disease will not respond to standard IVIG treatment. The goal is to identify high-risk children early so they can receive stronger initial therapy and avoid heart complications. The study will include about 103 children from Europe and North India.
