Screen time vs. medicine: which better calms kids before surgery?
NCT ID NCT07077200
Summary
This study looked at two common ways to help children feel less anxious before a stomach or colon exam (endoscopy). Researchers compared letting kids watch short videos to giving them a calming nasal spray. They measured how anxious the kids were, how much sedation medicine they needed, and how satisfied parents and doctors were with the process.
