Sound waves target tumors: new kidney cancer treatment trial

Summary
This study is testing a device that uses focused sound waves to destroy small kidney tumors without making any cuts. It enrolled 67 adults with single, small kidney tumors to see if the treatment safely eliminates the tumor tissue. Researchers will follow participants for five years to check if the tumors are gone and monitor for any complications.
