First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compared two minimally invasive surgeries for removing kidney stones up to 2 cm in size: flexible ureteroscopy (a scope through the urinary tract) and mini-PCNL (a tiny incision in the back). 118 adults took part. The main goal was to see which method cleared more stones completely, with fewer side effects and shorter hospital stays.
