New study aims to find the best way to clear kidney stones
NCT ID NCT07072598
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common kidney stone removal surgeries works better. Researchers will compare a surgery that goes through the back (mini-PCNL) with one that goes through the urinary tract (ureteroscopy) when both use a special suction tool. They want to see which method completely removes stones more often and has fewer side effects for patients with medium-sized kidney stones.
