First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a new imaging agent called [18F]RCCB6 can improve the detection of kidney cancer, especially the most common type (clear cell renal cell carcinoma). Researchers will enroll 300 adults with confirmed or suspected kidney cancer to measure how well the tracer works and compare it to standard scans like CT, MRI, and FDG-PET. The goal is to provide a more accurate, non-invasive way to diagnose and guide treatment decisions for kidney cancer patients.
