Blood test could spot kidney cancer return before scans do
NCT ID NCT05917106
Summary
This study is testing a new type of blood test to see if it can detect the return of kidney cancer earlier than current standard scans. It will follow 450 patients who are having surgery for newly diagnosed kidney cancer. Researchers will track changes in genetic markers in the blood over time to see if they can predict recurrence sooner and help guide future care.
