Summary
This study looks at how a common diabetes medication (SGLT2 inhibitor) changes energy use in the heart and muscles of people with type 2 diabetes and heart failure. Researchers will measure key energy molecules and walking ability in 71 adults aged 18-80. The goal is to understand the drug's effects, not to test a new treatment.
