Brain waves may reveal who ketamine can help for depression

NCT ID NCT06480201

Summary

This study aims to find a brain signal that can predict whether ketamine treatment will work for people with hard-to-treat depression. Researchers will measure specific brain wave patterns (called gamma oscillations) in 100 participants before and after ketamine therapy. The goal is to create a test that shows which patients are most likely to benefit from this type of treatment.
