Summary

This study aims to understand how ketamine works in the brain to quickly treat depression. Researchers will use brain scans, blood tests, and other measures in 150 adults with major depression and healthy volunteers. The goal is to find out why a single dose works fast but briefly, and whether repeated doses can help longer.
