Summary

This study tests a new implant called KeriFuse for fusing the last joint of fingers damaged by osteoarthritis. The implant is a staple made of a special metal that returns to its original shape after being placed, which may help the bone heal faster. About 50 adults with painful finger arthritis will receive the implant during surgery, and doctors will track how quickly the bone fuses and whether pain decreases.
